What's it all about?
Meditation has been a ritual practice in the East for centuries. Only in the recent 10 years or so the western world has become to appreciate this ancient past time. With our modern lives becoming busier and more stressful, we all need to take time for ourselves and 'switch off ' (pun intended) from this endless technologically demanding world. Meditation is like going to the gym. You can’t go once and expect immediate results. If you stick with it, it will change your life. You don’t need to learn every form of meditation; you need to find the one that suits you best.
Do you need to find a place and some time to relax and de-stress? Have you always wanted to try meditation? Join Kokoon for meditation sessions and Just Be...Our meditation sessions are for anyone who wishes to just take some time out of his or her schedule to just be...

Who is doing this?
Tina has been practicing this sacred ritual for almost 10 years. Already a holistic and Beauty therapy teacher, she now embarks on teaching meditation. As a practicing holistic therapist I carry out holistic consultations for my clients; where most of the clients have complaints of stress, worry, anxiety, insomnia, exhaustion, depression, the list goes on. Meditation at Kokoon Holistics is a practice that is non religious, the classes are designed to help relax and give the attendee time to let go of daily stresses. Also to learn tools that can help them in their daily lives. Both males and females are welcome to our classes.

Do I have to sit on the Floor?!
Kokoon’s Lotus Studio has been designed specifically for this practice, with comfort at the forefront of importance, you can sit in a chair, though our beautiful Thai floor cushions do result in many relaxed people at the end of our sessions. The wall of light creates a soothing and calming environment for the sensation of feeling safe and cocooned whilst you practice your goal of calmness.
What do I Wear?
Wear something comfortable and loose, you will be sat and laid down for about an hour, there are blankets to keep you warm.
Do I Have To Talk To People?
Not at all. We do share a reflection part at the end of the session, some people talk and some people don't... either is ok.
We begin all our meditation sessions with delicious Tea Huggers herbal teas.
Guided mediations with varied themes are offered each week.
